valentines day gift jars

im really sorry i haven't posted in a while. Thank you Dalila soo much for blogging. soo today you are finally gonna create a danelly original and since valentines day is coming up, i thought to myself what is a perfect idea for valentines day gift to give to anybody and not just your admirer.

so then i came up with this super easy idea.

materials:

a jar (i found this at Michaels crafts store.)

gold acrylic paint or spray paint.

mod podge glue and a sponge brush

a red ribbon (could be medium and small)

any treats of your kind

a nice valentines day mini card to who ever you wanna give it too.

and safety scissors

you have to have the patience to do this because it takes a day or maybe like 2 hours for the paint to dry completely.

steps:

1.take any sticker in the jar or barcode so it wouldnt show when you add the paint

2.take the lid off so you can paint it seperately

3. paint the jar using arcrylic paint or spray paint to paint it gold. (i used gold but mixed it in with glitter for more details)

4. paint the lid the same color and wait 2 hours for the jar and the lid to dry.

5. repaint both the jar and the lid so all of it can be permanately gold and gold only.

6. with ribbon make a bow under the lid but not on the lid. (cut the ribbon ends so they would not look long.)

7. with the mod podge glue you are going to get your mini card and glue the bag of the onto the bottom of the jar so the card would look like a stand and at the same time it would be a card.

8. open the jar and add your treats and gifts in the jar. (once you close it you may add maybe a sticker that says to and from and add it in the front of the jar) its optional.

9. make sure nothing is wrong with the jar and thaat its perfectly fine.

10. on valentines day give it too the person you are giving it too. and except a hug from them because for all i know you will be getting one!!!!!!
